The hair has a life cycle of three cycles. The Anagen phase is the first and it lasts typically between 2-6 years. This is the phase where the hair is growing.

The second phase is the Catagen phase. This lasts typically 1-2 weeks. This phase can also be called the transition phase. In this phase, the papilla is disconnecting from the nutrition supply. It shrinks to about 1/6 of its regular size.

The third phase is the Telogen phase or the Resting phase. This phase is typically 5-6 weeks. The papilla is resting in this phase, and the papilla is also disconnected from the follicle. When baldness appears, it is because the papilla remains in this phase. This is the phase that the Laser Comb can effect.

After the Telogen phase, the hair is normally returning to the Anagen phase by the papilla reconnecting to the follicle. The last hair in the follicle will be pushed out by new hair which keeps on growing. The cycle is beginning again.

The papilla is being awakened by the Laser Comb when it has remained in the Telogen phase. When it has been awakened, it goes back into Anagen phase and hair is being produced again. The awakening is happening by red laser, green light, vibrations and warmth, provided by the Laser Comb.

Scientific studies has showes that test groups using the Laser Comb has shown better results than test groups not using the Laser Comb.
